Our Deepest Fear.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others. —Marianne Williamson

We all have fears and doubts, we all face adversity and failure just not the same. We all go thru things we just react different, that reaction doesn’t make you better than or less than anyone. If we were meant to be the same God would have gave us all the same qualities but he didn’t and that fact makes each and everyone of us unique beyond comparison.

I am not you and you are not me, so I can understand what you’ve been thru but I might not understand what you did to come out of it. From a distance I can say what I would’ve done or how I could’ve handle the situation but you might not feel me. Our minds are not of one accord so I can guess how you feel or you can tell me how you feel. I can give you advice or tell you how I would handle it but you might not want to do it like that.

The world is suggestive and the fearless ones stand on the front line and take fire while others are consumed in fear and running for the hills. The runners could be smart because at least the live to see another day. What they don’t understand is there is no place you can run that the fear won’t be. Meanwhile the fearless get knocked down but always manages to get back to they’re feet, never quitting or settling for anything but the best.

Sure; you can try your best, be at your best and still feel as if you’ve accomplished nothing. The reason is; we loose God in our journey, we think we are actually doing things on our own instead of thanking him daily for his love and mercy. (“Lord knows in this day and age we need him”) You can’t even wake up without his permission. We are vessels, we shine for him so that he may shine his light on us, thus giving us the power to shine for others.

No; we are not perfect and everything won’t be a walk in the park, but if you trust God, if you learn to leap with faith knowing that only God can catch you; he will. Remember that God doesn’t leave us, we leave him!!! Some of us never knew him from the start, others try to stop believing because they said he wasn’t there when he was needed. I say; yes he was but you didn’t look, listen or feel for him hard enough so you missed him. You wait on him not the other way around and because God is a jealous God, he will allow us to fall on our face when he’s had enough of being under appreciated or forgotten.

Faith and courage goes hand in hand, place your fears in His hands and he will provide the strength that you need to carry on.

  1. Welcome back. It is always refreshing to hear someone kick the truth. For 2014 I hold fast to this:
To God Be The Glory. For all that he does, all that He is doing and all that He will do, I thank Him for His love, grace and mercy.
